Becoming Mentorship & Outreach Program is a not-for-profit organization created to equip young women and mothers ages 17-34 education empowerment tools from a holistic point of reference. Our mission is committed to assisting participants to conquer life challenges by transforming their pain into Purpose and Power! Our mission is to develop a positive transparent mentorship relationship. We will provide essential life skills including, positive coping strategies, job readiness training, and coaching. Participants will receive instructions on how to positively cope with life challenges by utilizing their internal strengths, nature-based- mindfulness, meditation, and strength-based techniques.
What is Becoming More Outreach Service?
Our wraparound services will utilize other community-based services; linkage and referral. Group, individual, and family empowerment counseling services. We provide skilled professional, personal, and supportive services stemming from a place of empathy - a desire to serve. Our team will intervene with positive coaching, life and job readiness training, and role modeling. Our holistic approach means " meeting people where they are " building on their strengths, identifying barriers, and dismantling them. We plan to become vulnerable, expose our truth, risk of exposure, which will help individuals trust, forgive, move- forward to heal. We will utilize our ability to empower and educate while maintaining the belief, courage, and patience for every individual encountered. Our goal is to assist young women, mom, and community members with the process of recreating themselves through holistic life-changing opportunities and access to vital resources. Until the willingness to thrive is evoked in their mind, body, and spirit! Birthing a renewed sense of hope and purpose will be strengthening their desire to reclaim destiny while working to become positive contributors to their families, communities, and future mentees.
Mentorship and Life coaching promotes self- sufficiency, positive parenting, and strengthening of families; creating new opportunities , briding the gap in disparities, break generational barriers of poverty and lack of resources. The mentorship relationship will begin with the founder or a lead mentor. Thereafter, mentees are paired with a mentor willing to build & maintain positive mentorship relationships, receive life skills training, and professional insight geared towards your desired field of study/ career focus.
Group & Individual Mentorship sessions are offered via teleheath resulting from (Covid-19)
All Life Coaching individual or group sessions are based on facilitators availability will be scheduled in advance

Our Life Coaching is offered by a person certified by life experiences. The person is professional trained as a certified counselor or therapist.
All Life Coaching sessions are confidential & requires a waiver signed to participate in a 3 - 5 series 45-minute sessions. Group Coaching sessions will be tailored to presenting the issue/ benefit of the mentee group.
Becoming More Outreach Program
The mentor will work with you and link to other agencies to locate appropriate services to access various essentials to help achieve your goals. Donations are received and will be distributed based on the need.
These services would include 1:1 instruction on how to obtain foundational services.

Example 1: Maybe you need assistance with completing financial aid documents to return to school but you are without transportation. A mentor will help to complete the documents and return them to the agency.

The intent of these services is to provide education to increase knowledge of substance use disorders and the recovery process. Helping individuals, families, and community stakeholders understand how substance abuse/ misuse of chemicals may have negatively impacted their physical, mental, emotional, family, social, work, school, legal, and spiritual functioning.
Providing customized and structured services based on the principles of recovery. We provide service support for those attempting to recover from substance use disorders. Recovery coaching is structured so that the behaviors for potential relapse can be identified- providing a sense of peace for supporters. Recovery coaching is an essential component to help individuals as they move through the stage of change. Recovery coaching and on- going support improves self-esteem, purpose, and hope.
